This image really intrigues, its setting strange surreal and chaotic, like the dark pathways of the mind only visited in fevered dreams, sharp and painful. That figure shrouded in that grey murk almost overwhelmed, yet on the hair there still glints a bright light, like a sign of undying hope, that unquenched fire still burning inside. The figure lost in this dark forest conveys so many emotions in a single frantic gesture. The arm, strength, the hands, pain and searching. The hair wild and flowing like a river flooded and overflowing with unbound furry. One can almost sense that the figure is beginning to fall as she reaches towards her head, a desperate attempt to change, looking for the root of all doubt and conflict, to tear it out like a beating black heart and to begin the healing and purification. Everything slowed and vivid, every sound a cannon shot. Every sensation a prolonged agony.

From a technical perspective, I think I’d like it if the background were a little more clear, but on the other hand it might ruin that surreal ambience of the piece.
